Ads sent to a home page burn money.

Sending paid traffic to your home page is paying full price for a visitor and then asking them to go and find what they came for, which most of them will not do.

Someone who clicked an ad for furnace repair in Grande Prairie does not want your company history, your six other services and a slideshow. They want to know you can come today, roughly what it costs and how to reach you, in that order.

A landing page answers exactly that and nothing else. It also gives you a clean measurement, because one page with one goal tells you what a lead costs, which a home page shared by five campaigns never can.

What makes a page convert.

None of this is clever. It is just done consistently, which is the part most pages skip.

  1. The offer above everything

What you do, where you do it and what happens next, visible before anyone scrolls. If a visitor has to scroll to find out whether you serve their town, you have already lost some of them.

  2. One action, repeated

Call, book or request a quote. One goal, offered again at each natural stopping point, with no competing menu quietly pulling people off the page.

  3. Proof where the doubt is

Real reviews, real work and real credentials placed next to the claims they support, rather than parked in a testimonials section nobody visits.

  4. Forms worth filling in

The shortest form that still qualifies the lead, with a phone option for the people who would rather just call, and a confirmation that tells them exactly when to expect a reply.

  5. Built for the town in the ad

When a campaign targets Clairmont or Sexsmith, the page can say so. Matching the page to the search is one of the cheapest conversion gains there is.

  6. Tracking that closes the loop

Calls, form fills and bookings tracked and fed back to the ad platform, so you are optimising against real leads instead of clicks that feel good in a dashboard.

Four steps, no mystery.

Web design gets sold as a mystery.

This runs the opposite way.

Same four steps, every project.

  1. Step 01 of 04

    Free audit

We look at the site you have now, the businesses ranking above you and what people in your area are actually typing into Google. You get a plain read on what it is costing you. No charge and no obligation.

  2. Step 02 of 04

    Plan and quote

One page, plain language. What gets built, what it costs and when it goes live. The number on that page is the number you pay, and nothing starts until you say so.

  3. Step 03 of 04

    Design and build

You see the direction before a line of code is written, and you get to change your mind while changing it is cheap. Then it gets built mobile first, fast, with the SEO structure in from the start rather than bolted on later.

  4. Step 04 of 04

    Launch and look after

Redirects checked, analytics wired up, Google Business Profile pointed at the new site. After that hosting, backups and edits are handled, so the thing stays fast instead of quietly rotting.

The usual questions.

What is the difference between a landing page and a normal web page?

A landing page has one goal and removes everything that competes with it, including the main navigation. A normal page has to serve several kinds of visitor at once. That focus is why landing pages convert paid traffic better.

Do I need a landing page if I already have a website?

Only if you are running ads or a specific campaign. If you are spending on Google or Facebook and sending that traffic to your home page, a landing page is usually the fastest improvement available to you.

Can you build a separate page for each town I serve?

Yes, and for paid campaigns that often pays for itself quickly. The important part is that each page says something genuinely specific about that area rather than being the same page with the town name swapped, which search engines see straight through.

Do you set up the tracking as well?

Yes. Call tracking, form conversions and booking events are configured and tested at launch, and fed back into whichever ad platform you are running, so the numbers you optimise against are real leads.

Do you run the ads too?

That sits under internet marketing rather than web design, and yes it can be handled. Plenty of people have the pages built here and keep running their own campaigns, which is completely fine.

How fast can a landing page be live?

Much faster than a full site, usually a week or two depending on how quickly the offer and the photos come together. Campaigns tend to have dates attached, and that is planned around.
